In the process, use this time to teach them about good nutrition such as whole grains , beans and legumes, nuts, fatty fish, and teas are just as important, offering all sorts of complex heart-protective nutrients. For your cholesterol eat walnuts and almonds nuts. They contain heart-protective phytosterols, which seem to reduce blood cholesterol. Also oatmeal contains fiber, which binds cholesterol, which in turn protects your heart. By all means exercise.
