A Heart Stroke affects millions of people annually and there are many types of this condition, while some types are more common than others they can all be deadly if not treated. Heart stroke occurs when the oxygen is completely cut off from the brain. It can affect your speech, behavior, your thought patterns, your senses and your memory. What are the heart Stroke Causes? Heart stroke occurs when oxygen is cut off from the brain by either a busted artery or a clogged artery. Brain tissue that is robbed of oxygen dies in just minutes. The end result is that that part of the brain that controls that part of the body either doesn’t function properly or not at all.

1. A hemorrhagic stroke is caused by a ruptured blood vessel in the brain.
2. A thrombotic stock occurs when a blood clot blocks a cerebral artery.
3. Atherosclerosis and or high blood pressure increase the risk of a stroke.
4. Bleeding into the brain from an injury can also cause a stroke.

There are symptoms that can be warning signs, like shortness of breath, heart palpitations, dizziness, chest pains, which are known as angina, fatigue and cramping in the lower legs or calf muscles.
Sudden weakness or numbness of the face arm or leg, usually on one side of the body. If you have difficulty speaking or understanding when someone is talking to you. Dimness or loss of vision, usually in one eye. Falls for no reason or unexplained dizziness. A sudden or severe headache.

The signs of a stroke may include weakness, numbness, blurred vision, confusion, and slurred speech. Getting to a hospital quickly is vital for a good outcome with a stroke.

Types of Stroke - There are two major types of stroke: ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke.
Ischemic stroke occurs when a blood vessel that supplies blood to the brain is blocked by a blood clot.

Hemorrhagic stroke - occurs when a blood vessel in part of the brain becomes weak and bursts open, causing blood to leak into the brain. People who suffer ischemic strokes have a much better chance for survival than those who experience hemorrhagic strokes. Studies suggest, however, that survivors of hemorrhagic heart stroke have a greater chance for recovering function than those who suffer ischemic stroke.
